Water Treatment System in Trumansburg, NY

Challenge

This homeowner moved to the area in the summer of 2009 and purchased a home with a Halco HVAC system which had been installed for the previous owner. Shortly after moving in, they discovered that the water from the well system smelled, looked, and tasted terrible. Being new to the area and not sure who to call, the client called the Halco number on the furnace sticker.

Solution

The Halco team member took a water sample and performed an initial test which indicated a serious number of undesirable water conditions.

Through a discussion with the customer about priorities, concerns, and further testing, we were able to offer several solutions with varying degrees of simplicity, ease of maintenance, and water quality.

Ultimately, the customer chose to have Halco install a whole house reverse osmosis system with multiple levels of pre-treatment, a 600 gallon storage system, and an E-Z pay discount club to keep it maintained and running smoothly for years to come.
