Challenge
Install heating and cooling systems for Top of the Hill Apartments, a 4-floor building with thirteen apartments in Ithaca, New York.
Solution
The building is heated with a hydronic baseboard system. Each apartment is cooled with window air conditioning unit. The exercise room has a split air conditioning unit. A makeup air unit is used to supply fresh air to the common areas of the building. Each apartment has its own boiler and water heater as well as its own water and gas meters.
