Challenge
To install a complete heating and air conditioning system at the Wingate Inn, in Syracuse, New York - a new 87-unit, 4-story hotel with an indoor pool.
Solution
Four furnaces and condensers totaling 18-tons were used to heat and cool the first floor common areas. A 7.5-ton dehumidification system was installed for the indoor pool. Packaged air conditioning (PTAC) units were installed in each the room for heat and cooling. Fresh Air is brought into the building through the furnaces and the corridors on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th floors.
