Hope the summer is treating you well. I wanted you to know that last night at dinner my wife, said “I have to admit you were right about the insulation.  It’s really made the house much more comfortable.”  As you might imagine, I was incredibly pleased.  The insulation has made a huge difference this summer.  Temperature swings in the house are very minor unless we open the windows.  Looking forward to the winter benefits.   All best, Scott

I am reaching out to you regarding an employee that I feel needs to be recognized (for not only his impressive knowledge, exceptional inspection skills, and his ability to multi-task while listening to 2 children run wild and 2 adults asking him several HUNDRED questions), but also his ability to maintain such a personal conversation while still being professional enough to represent Halco Energy.  Too often, as people with "professional careers", we forget that not everyone comes from our backgrounds in business/ education, etc. We forget that certain terms, gestures, and sources of communication can be so easily misconstrude, and our lack of "personalism", is often a reflection of "ego". A reflection that is commonly deposited on the employer the person is representing.    In this case however, I have been exceedingly satisfied. The job these employees are subjected to is extremely time consuming and physical. Between introduction, inspection, reporting, paperwork, and (I can only imagine) several, yes several moments of questioning, an individual designed to handle this type of assignment would need to posess an immsense amount of patience, personality, empathy, and a strong will to REFRAIN from judgement. Judgement which can come so effortlessly when dealing with a specific population; that of poverty.    As a professional who is exposed to elements within someone elses home, I can only imagine the stress one must face entering that house and being expected to interact with people they know nothing about.     I can only say this, if I had to recommend Halco Energy to anyone, based upon my interaction with Mr. Jamie Kluk, I absolutely, without hesisitation would. I can only hope my interaction with him, and this review, will prepare this company in the future to set the bar even higher when looking at potentially new recruits! Because as any businessman/woman knows, THAT individual is the face of your company, and their every move is a precise delineation of you.

The two young men who weatherized our home today were absolutely outstanding.  They were very thorough, they explained their work very clearly and certainly exceeded our expectations of the overall improvements they did. Our home is noticeably tighter. I can feel the difference and I know I will see the difference on our utility bill. Thank you for being the EmPower NY contractor. We had airkrete and foam insulation installed as part of an energy conservation upgrade. Everyone went beyond my expectations regarding timeliness, work ethic, consideration of entering house and overall professionalism.

I just want you to know how thankful I am for all the work that has been done to my trailer. Every person from there from start to finish was professional, friendly and as a woman who lives alone it meant alot to me that no one who came here made me uncomftorable or was innapropriate in any way. Again, thank you all so much for everything you've done to my home. I just felt it was important for you to know how pleased I am and will recommend you to anyone. Have a great day.

To Whom It May Concern @Halco. Chris and James showed up right on schedule, after we talked on the phone, and got right to work. They sealed up the crawlspace in quick fashion, that looks very professional. I did not know about the vapor barrier, but James took a moment to explain that. It really looked nice when finished. I'll be proud to show it off when people come to visit. Next came the attic. The attic needed a little more prep work than originally anticipated, but the guys used some foam board, and spray foam, and got the job done. They laid down a nice thick layer of the cellulose very even about 21" deep anticipating it would settle down to 18". Everything was handled very professionally right down to sealing the hatches shut. I would hire them again in an instant. The most impressive praise came from two of my friends; one is a carpenter, and the other is a general contractor. I was a little out of my area of expertise so I asked them to talk to the guys, and look at the work. Both said no question that I had hired a good group of guys, and that everyone was very knowledgeable, and that they could not do a better job themselves. This from 2 guys with almost 80 years combined experience in home building, and remodeling. Sincerely, Hal R.

Halco, I would like to thank you for the wonderful job your crews performed while insulating my house in Naples. As a result of the process, my home is much more comfortable this heating season! I have already sent you my thoughts on the men who actually worked on the task of insulating the house. However, I have been remiss in not informing you of the professionalism and expertise demonstrated by Energy Advisor, Greg Hays, and Supervisor, Ron DeRue during the entire process. Both gentlemen are very knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions throughout the project. Moreover, they were willing to listen and to incorporate my input into the process. They were very respectful of my home and ensured that all work was performed carefully and properly. When questions or problems arose during the installation, both were able to provide answers and solutions. In one instance, I identified what I thought to be a deficiency with the spray foam installation in the attic and above the garage. After reviewing the work that was performed, they agreed with my findings and made arrangements to have additional spray foam sprayed in. This helped to make the dwelling much more energy efficient. Halco is very fortunate indeed, to have two such highly qualified professionals representing your company. Additionally, on the advice your representatives, I have also signed a contract to have Halco service my propane furnace and water heater making me a platinum customer. Respectfully, William S.

I am a general contractor out of Bloomfield. I was working at a job in Ionia where Halco was doing the Insulation in the house. I want to give a positive review on the crew you had there. I am very fussy with our work, and I am also critical of others work. The crew you had there, Scott Smith, with Colton and Dave helping him really impressed us. They were installing spray foam, and the dense pack. We were very impressed on how well of a job they did, how well they worked together, and how well they work with other contractors also. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs this work done.
