Steve is one heck of a skilled professional in his clarity, approach, intellect and ability to turn around a negative initial situation.  I know from experience owning two companies this is not easy to accomplish.  Steve's openness and forthright, honest manner carries the day.  Ron was kind and very well-versed in performing the audit and compilation of a coherent report and plan. Steve has worked with me since the 27th of February to reach an agreement on materials and scope of the replacement, the pricing to match me personal budget, NYSERDA paperwork and my concerns with focus and kindness... He is great.  I appreciate his obvious concern for NYSERDA and their goals. Yesterday, I got to see this plan all come together.  The installation process of my new furnace was fun to watch; your employees really know their jobs and work well as a team.  All the guys were respectful, clean, organized and steady.  Steve kept all on point, teaching team members as they went and assuring success.  I was able to reach in my studio, while the install was completed on the other side of the wall from my studio.  I had nothing to clean up after... ...You are welcome to offer my reference to anyone that is interested and that will benefit HALCO.  A month from now, when my remodeling is complete here, I will be glad to show prospective customers your install in my home.  I will do what we can to find you more business.

Mr. Smith, Last May, I arranged for a visit from your service, and a terrific and knowledgeable technician: Eric McConnell, was very helpful in reviewing our plumbing and heating needs. He made some great recommendations and we ended up signing up for the service agreements for both heating and plumbing. I am sorely delayed in following up on some of Eric's recommendation and will do so in the near future. In the meantime, after noticing that our actual thermostat reading was lower than the preset temp, I called your toll free line last night. Another technician, John, called me back and we discussed the issue. Because we had heat (just not the normal amount), I asked John to arrange a visit for today, rather than making a trip last night. John did so, and promptly this morning just after 7am, someone from your offices called and we set a technician visit for this evening at 5pm. Hans, the Technician and a BOCES student, Lane, were here right on time. In fact, they were early actually, which was great for me as a mom of two who was running around all day. Hans was very thorough in listening to my concerns, and shared what he thought may be the problem. Sure enough, after doing some tests, he confirmed his suspicion that the gas valve needed replacement. Lane and he were excellent in terms of their professionalism, their expertise, and their patience as I asked them tons of questions about our heating system and what they were doing. This was the first time I had to call HALCO since our service agreement and couldn't be happier with the results. They had to turn systems on and off, run system tests, pull apart the old valve and replace it with a new one, reconnect the gas, and check to ensure there were no gas leaks. Probably basic stuff to your technicians but very scary for those of us who don't have that expertise. The house almost immediately began warming up and I was/am extremely confident in the safety of our boiler after they worked on it. Between all the people with whom I have interacted from the very beginning, I was been truly impressed and appreciative of their high level of customer service and knowledge. I am terrible at completing paper surveys so I hope this note to you suffices to convey my thanks to Eric, John, Hans and Lane, and anyone else who helped us along the way. I plan on following up on the recommendations Eric made, and look forward to improving the energy and plumbing needs of our home with your company's help. Thank you!

The new thermostat has made an enormous improvement. Not only is the house being perfectly cooled and dehumidified, the differential between upstairs and downstairs is only 2 degrees, which is perfect for sleeping. To everyone at Halco - Wishing you all a great Merry Christmas and all the best of the New Year.  Berta and I are so happy with our new furnace and heat pump. We love the new coziness-warmth it has given to our home. Huge thanks to Rex, Brett, John, and Sean for the fine tuning of our thermostat to get it functioning just right.  My wife no longer mentions that "she is so cold" anymore! Such a welcome new era here after 25 years of her being cold.

Yesterday, 02/03/2021, I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. McConnell your serviceman on two occasions. On both occasions, I have found him to be an efficient expeditious, and pleasurable man.  Usually a service call can be an arduous unpleasant visit but on both occasions he has exhibited a professional efficient manner. As a former company executive of several companies, Krupp, Germany being one of them, I can sate so with authority and conviction. He is expeditious, he is outstanding and it is warranted you should be aware that you could not have a better person representing your company.  Your telephone answering persons are also excellent.
