Rodney, I was given your email address, at my request, by Joel Needle because I felt compelled to pass along to you a few comments about the quality of the service I have received by your company employees this last week. First, I just moved to Auburn and bought this house about 7 weeks ago. I ran into a plumbing problem about 8:30 on Saturday night, 12/6/2014 and saw your company offered emergency service. I called your number and my call was handled by a very friendly and understanding woman. I explained I had to shut off the water to the house and could I get someone out as soon as possible. She told me should could have someone here around 8 in the morning on Sunday. Your service technician, Dan Burns, showed up Sunday morning. He was professionally attired, polite and very professional in his behavior. I liked the fact that he came in a company vehicle that was well stocked and professionally detailed. He looked over the problem, provided me with an estimate and proceeded to resolve the problem in a timely manner once I gave my approval. I was impressed by his depth of knowledge and pleasant personality. He then pointed out a few safety concerns, such as the fact that my hot water heater relief discharge was placed up against the chimney and would not function properly. He said he could correct the problem for a fee and I was glad to have him resolve the issue. I was so impressed with the quality of his work that I signed up for a Halco membership for heating and plumbing for about $25 a month. It's an excellent plan. I also scheduled an energy audit. I received a call on Monday confirming the appointment for Tuesday. I like all the small professional touches your company offers. On Tuesday Joel Needle and Lindsay Snow arrived, on time, to do the energy audit. They too were professionally attired, pleasant and very professional in how they conducted the audit. Joel and Lindsay answered all my questions and explained all the processes they were doing and what they were looking for. I was very impressed with their depth of knowledge. Once they completed the audit they explained to me what all the house issues were and how each issue could be resolved. Let me tell you, I had no intention of spending $7900 to do the insulation and other fixes they recommended, but Joel and Lindsay were so thorough and helpful in explaining how these fixes would address my concerns, ice build up, energy cost, etc, that I decided to have your company do the work they recommended. Lindsay did a great job in doing the paperwork so i can get the 3.9% financing. That process of getting the financing and having your people do so much of the paper work for a loan that offers such a low interest rate is too good to turn down. The reason I felt compelled to write this email is simply that I am 53 years old, a professional myself, a systems analyst at ITT Goulds Pumps, and well educated. It's not very often I deal with a company that conducts, and presents itself, in such a professional manner as Halco does. Your business model works perfectly. Whether it's your interview process, training or a combination of both, whatever you are doing that allows people like Dan, Joel and Lindsay to be the face of your company to customers, is working perfectly. I have an older house and I plan on using Halco for all my plumbing, heating, electrical and insulation needs. I have never written an email of this nature before but I want to let Halco Management know how very impressed I am with their company and employees. Please relay my sincere thanks and these thoughts to the appropriate supervisors or managers. Thank you, Jeffrey
